I learned a lot this week, how to tell the time in Spanish, how to stand up on a surf board and ride in the break, how to tell your howler monkey call from a Kiskadee to a gecko to a bat (most of these things have passed by my bedroom at some point). It’s been a tough week!
So it was nice to have the weekend off to go to the Montezuma waterfalls and snorkeling at Tortuga island. Also got to see a baby turtle make it’s way into the ocean. Here’s a couple of pics from the classroom and the weekend.
Sunrise at La Escuela Del Sol
Relaxing at the waterfalls after jumping 5 metres into it!
My parrot friend at Isla Tortuga:
Taking in sunset and relaxing at the in pool bar after a hard week…
Looking forward to week 2!
Looks amazing – not like hard work at all – what language does your parrot friend speak – food I suspect!
